Job Summary and Qualifications As a Lead Central Sterile Technician, you'll help deliver safe, high-quality care by ensuring surgical instruments and supplies are expertly cleaned, sterilized, and ready to use. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading the preparation, cleaning, and sterilization of surgical instruments and supplies, making sure all items are properly cleaned and ready for use Organizing instruments and equipment based on surgery schedules and special case needs Monitoring sterilization processes and equipment performance, keeping accurate records, and promptly reporting any issues Maintaining a clean, organized, and stocked workspace that supports the team and upholds the highest infection control standards Training and supporting team members to work safely, follow best practices, and care for every patient like family What qualifications you will need: High School Graduate / GED 2 years' experience Required Benefits Rapides Regional Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
