Cambridge Health Alliance Block Scheduling NOT Allowed Must Work Every Other Holiday On Call Required•shift: 12:8:30 High School diploma or equivalent 3+ yrs experience required. Must have CRCST certification at time of submission BLS not required One to Two years experience as a Central Processing Technician required (Sterile Processing Decontamination & Sterilization Responsibilities) The Central Service Technician will be responsible for the decontamination, preparation, high-level disinfection, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments, medical devices and equipment required for patient care. The ideal candidate is meticulous, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable about infection control protocols and standards. Responsibilities Disassemble, clean, assemble, sterilize, and store procedure trays, instruments, equipment and supplies according to prescribed procedures and aseptic technique Inspect instruments to ensure all required items are available for surgery Test and maintain sterilization equipment to ensure its working properly Maintain accurate sterilization and quality assurance records Report any equipment or supply issues to the supervisor Manage inventory and ensure supplies are ordered as necessary Adhere to safety and infection control policies and procedures

Up to date resume that includes 3+ year(s) of experience in matching specialty experience.
