Yes Responsibilities:

Perform cleaning, decontamination, assembly, packaging, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment. Inspect, sort, and organize instruments and trays based on surgical specialty and procedure requirements. Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and instruments, ensuring availability for all scheduled procedures. Operate and monitor sterilization equipment and follow manufacturer and facility protocols. Assist Sterile Processing Specialists with competency documentation, training support, and workflow coordination as needed. Follow infection control and safety procedures, including proper handling of biohazardous materials. Respond to on‑call and weekend requests as scheduled by the facility.

Requirements:

Minimum 24 months of current Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) experience. Must hold active HSPA certification for at least the past 2 years. Active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. COVID‑19 vaccination required - declinations NOT accepted; vaccination must be state‑recorded. Previous travel healthcare experience preferred (travel assignment history in sterile processing or similar environment). Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on‑call shifts as determined by the facility.

$1,300.00 - $1,340.00 per week
