Job Description

Job Summary The Sterile Processing Technician maintains all surgical instrumentation & scopes, sets up supplies for surgical cases.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required Computer skills required CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred experience in SPD and scope processing highly preferred Knows operating room instrumentation. Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray. Understands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer. Ability to prepare reports and keep records. Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians What We Offer As a valued member of USPI, your health and well‑being are important to us. Required Skills:
High School Diploma / GED One to two years experience as a Scrub Tech or Surgical Processing in multiple specialties or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with physicians and all medical professionals. Demonstrated knowledge of sterile processing. Previous healthcare experience in any capacity. Current certification of BLS. #LI-LL1
