We're looking for a dependable Sterile Processing Technician to join a team in York, ME on a contract/travel basis. This is a day-shift position starting ASAP, offering $1,300 for a 40-hour week. What you'll do: Decontaminate, clean, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment to meet infection-control standards. Inspect and accurately assemble instrument sets for surgical procedures. Maintain inventory, manage storage of sterile supplies, and ensure items are ready when needed. Document sterilization cycles and follow policies and regulatory requirements. Work closely with surgical and clinical teams to support safe, efficient patient care. What we're looking for: Certification in sterile processing (CSPDT or equivalent) preferred. Experience in sterile processing, central supply, or the OR is a plus. Strong attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to work well on a team. Familiarity with infection control principles and sterilization procedures.
