Days - 6:30 AM to 3 PM or Nights - 10:30 PM to 7:00
AM Schedule:
Weekends Required Interview Process:
Manager will conduct a phone interview
Important Details:
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of Sterile Processing experience
  • Candidates must demonstrate strong reliability and punctuality
Job Summary:
The Certified Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the decontamination, inspection, assembly, sterilization, storage, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment. This role ensures all instruments and supplies are processed according to infection control standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment
  • Operate and monitor sterilization equipment and document sterilization cycles
  • Assemble instrument trays and procedure sets according to department specifications
  • Maintain accurate records and tracking of instruments and sterilization processes
  • Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage
  • Distribute sterile supplies and equipment to patient care areas
  • Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and quality assurance standards
  • Collaborate with operating room and clinical staff to ensure instrument availability
Required Qualifications:
  • Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years of Sterile Processing experience
  • Knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control, and instrument processing standards
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work weekends and night shifts
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous hospital Sterile Processing experience
  • Experience with instrument tracking systems
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
