Sterile Processing Technician Simplify Inventions LLC Farmington Hills, MI Job Details $19 - $26 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Computer literacy Full Job Description Lab Technician - Clean Room Stage 2 Contract Engineering is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team. This Lab Technician position involves a working knowledge of Clean Room practices, execution compliant with good laboratory practices, and effective time management. He/She will provide lab testing support for clean room practices with accuracy, precision, and responsiveness. Analyze results and make conclusions with assistance from direct manager. Create effective reports as needed with guidance from direct manager.

Stage 2 is an engineering and prototype firm in Farmington Hills, Michigan that creates useful solutions to the world's most pressing problems. Stage 2 works to find, develop, and manufacture products that enable the unlucky half of the world to meet basic needs for electricity, clean water, and effective healthcare. Those products include the HANS™ PowerPack, HANS™ Solar Briefcase, and HANS™ Free Electric bicycle; the HANS™ Premium Water Appliance; and the Renew ECP apparatus. Stage 2 has other clean energy, clean water, and medical technologies that are still under development.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare test samples based on customer requirements and/or standard procedures. Perform appropriate tests as directed by direct manager Follow applicable Work Instructions or Standard Operating Procedures for sample preparation, testing, and equipment. Operate test equipment responsibly and safely and report any issues that need to be addressed. Keep an up-to-date electronic lab notebook with observations and results. Calculate basic statistics on test data and keep accurate records of testing results using Excel. Compile data and conclusions into reports using MS Office. Maintain updated inventory of laboratory materials and supplies. Participation in general lab maintenance activities like 5S, calibration, equipment maintenance. Calibrate lab equipment regularly and maintain calibration records. Identify improvements in test methods, validate them, and update Work Instructions. Identify opportunities for process improvements and follow through on actions to implement. Contribute new ideas to make the lab a safer place to work.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in pharmaceutical manufacturing or related field is a plus. 2 years experience working in a lab settingKnowledge of cGMP guidelines, quality control principles, and manufacturing processes in the pharmaceutical sector. Familiarity with pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and processes. Attention to detail, ability to follow SOPs and instructions precisely, and maintain accurate documentation. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Basic computer skills for data entry, equipment monitoring, and documentation purposes. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Equal opportunity employer
