Category Nursing - Sterile Processing Tech Job Type Contract Play a pivotal role in maintaining patient safety and supporting clinical teams by ensuring surgical instruments and equipment are cleaned, sterilized, and ready for use. This engaging opportunity offers three openings for skilled Sterile Processing Technicians across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Certified professionals are encouraged to bring their expertise to a dynamic healthcare environment committed to the highest standards of care.

Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST or CBSPD) Hands-on experience in decontamination, instrument assembly, and sterilization within a hospital or surgical setting Thorough understanding of infection control and aseptic techniques Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Effective communication and documentation skills Adaptability to fast-paced and changing clinical demands
Core Responsibilities:
Perform cleaning, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments, trays, and medical equipment Accurately inspect, assemble, and package instruments ensuring readiness for surgical procedures Track and monitor instruments using automated systems, maintaining accurate records Adhere to departmental protocols and infection control guidelines at all times Respond promptly to requests for equipment or instruments from clinical staff Troubleshoot and escalate issues with equipment or sterilization cycles as needed
