Category Nursing - Sterile Processing Tech Job Type Contract A reputable healthcare setting is currently seeking experienced professionals to fill three Sterile Processing Tech positions with immediate openings across first, second, and third shifts. This contract opportunity requires an individual who is committed to maintaining rigorous standards of safety, cleanliness, and infection control.
Key Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Sterile Processing Technician Certification as a Sterile Processing Tech - Certified Solid understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control standards Ability to operate sterilization equipment and perform instrument decontamination Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and patient safety Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clinical teams
Available Shifts:
First Shift Second Shift Third Shift Primary Responsibilities:
Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment in accordance with established protocols Assemble, wrap, and package instrument trays for surgical procedures Perform quality assurance checks on processed items to ensure compliance with safety guidelines Maintain proper documentation of sterilization cycles and inventory Monitor and restock supplies in sterile processing areas Collaborate with nursing, surgical, and support personnel to ensure timely supply of sterile instruments This is a contract role that offers hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment, with opportunities for professional growth and the satisfaction of directly contributing to patient safety.
