Job Summary The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the decontamination, preparation, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment throughout the Surgical Services department. This role ensures compliance with infection control and safety standards during all phases of the process.

Requirements:

High school diploma. Prefer two (2) years CSP or SPD experience. Knowledge of sterilization processes, infection control standards, and surgical instruments. Ability to distinguish between equipment malfunction and operator error. Certification from an accredited CSR training program or the ability to become certified within 12 months.
