JOB_POSTING-3-16268 Job Description The Project Coordinator supports student success for participants in the Miskwaadesi Head Start Project from enrollment through graduation by coordinating services, resources, and support activities. This position works collaboratively with faculty, staff, campus departments, and community partners to promote a holistic approach to student success. The Project Coordinator assists the Project Director with the development, implementation, and evaluation of project goals and supports recruitment and outreach efforts to increase enrollment in the Child Development Program at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College and the Miskwaadesi Head Start Project. The position develops and maintains effective working relationships with institutional and tribal partners, with an emphasis on Tribal Head Start programs. This is a grant funded position through September 29, 2030, with the possibility of extension depending on continued government funding.ÂSalary Range:
$24.40 - $28.75 hourly; $50,947 - $60,030 annually Minimum Qualifications â¢Â   At least two (2) years of experience (AA= 6 months experience, Bachelors=1 year experience, Masters=1.5 years experience) in one or more of the following areas: o   Student support services, advising, or retention o   Outreach, recruitment or community engagement o   Grant-funded program support â¢Â   Demonstrated proficiency in the use of standard office technology, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the use of the internet to access data, maintain records, generate reports, and communicate with others. â¢Â   Experience working directly with students or program participants, including tracking contacts, documenting interactions, and providing follow-up support. â¢Â   Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage calendars, deadlines, multiple priorities and grant timelines; make complicated travel arrangements. â¢Â   Ability to collect, maintain, and report program data using databases, spreadsheets, and student tracking systems. â¢Â   Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment. â¢Â   Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight travel.  Preferred Qualification â¢Â   BA degree with emphasis in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Education or a closely related field. â¢Â   Experience representing a program or institution at college fairs, career fairs, community events, or Tribal gatherings. â¢Â   Experience working with American Indian students and other underrepresented populations. â¢Â   Experience and knowledge working with or in a Head Start program, especially a Tribal Head Start program. â¢Â   Knowledge of college recruitment concepts and procedures.
