Provides direction for staff to accomplish efficient flow of work. Assists with orientation and training of new employees. Maintains expertise in all aspects of area activities and performs technical duties according to written policies and procedures. Monitors QA/QC activities, the physical environment, and participates in continuous improvement. Completes other duties as assigned by Supervisor. New Union Hires will have 18 months to achieve CRCST certification. Mayo Clinic will reimburse testing fees. Mayo Clinic will provide you with on the job training and after completing 400 hours of hands on experience you will be eligible to take the CRCST certification exam. Payrate will increase after becoming certified. Individuals hired to this position may be required to complete up to 2 years in this position before becoming eligible to transfer to other positions within Mayo Clinic.
