Certified Sterile Processing Technician (Summit, NJ, 07901) | 08/04/26 Job Description Familiarity with the correct materials for packaging, wrapping and sterilization methods of all instrument sets and trays. Complete knowledge of a case cart preparation system Basic computer knowledge with an Instrument Tracking system (ABACUS/MICROSYSTEMS) preferred. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time. Heavy lifting and pushing (trays & sterilization carts).
- Responsible for decontamination, prepping and packaging
- sterilization processes of all surgical instrumentation and patient care equipment
- Must be able to read, write and understand the English language
