Shift Schedule:
8-hour or 10-hour include weekends and holidays, days or nights How many shifts needed per month: 40 to 50 hours per week
Credentialing/Onboarding Time:
6 weeks to 8 weeks
Certifications:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT-CBSPD)
Experience Needed:
2 Years (24 months) of sterile processing experience
Special Skills Needed:
Basic computer/IT proficiency; strong English communication skills;
Responsibilities:
Perform decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging, and sterilization (steam/low-temp) of surgical instruments; prepare and distribute case carts; maintain accurate load documentation and instrument tracking; follow infection control, HIPAA, and safety/PPE standards.
