3:00p-11:00pm Guaranteed hours: 40 hrs/week

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the sterilisation and proper handling of surgical instruments and medical equipment, maintaining strict adherence to infection control protocols. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to patient safety and support clinical operations within a dynamic medical environment. Candidates should possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and relevant laboratory experience.
Responsibilities:
Clean, sterilise, and assemble surgical instruments and medical devices in accordance with established protocols. Inspect equipment for damage or contamination, ensuring all items meet safety standards before use. Maintain accurate records of sterilisation processes and equipment maintenance. Operate laboratory and sterilisation equipment efficiently, adhering to health and safety regulations. Prepare sterilised items for distribution to various hospital departments. Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and ordering supplies as needed. Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding instrument availability and status updates. Follow strict infection control procedures to minimise the risk of cross-contamination.
Requirements:
2 Years CURRENT experience
