Sterile Processing Technician

PAY:

$25/hr WorkFit Medical Staffing is currently seeking a meticulous and dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:

Clean, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments and equipment according to established protocols and best practices. Inspect and test sterilization processes to ensure compliance with safety standards. Manage the inventory of surgical supplies and instruments, ensuring adequate stock and timely reordering. Identify and document any discrepancies or issues involving sterilization processes. Assist in training new staff on sterile processing techniques and department protocols. Work collaboratively with surgical teams to facilitate efficient instrument turnover for procedures.

Work Environment:

Flexible shifts available based on departmental needs, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements Qualifications:

MUST LIVE 30+ MILES AWAY FROM ROCHESTER

High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in Sterile Processing preferred. A minimum of 1 year of experience in sterile processing or related field. Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control practices. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and carry heavy loads as necessary and be on your feet for extended periods.
