  • Tuesday Hours:
    11:00 PM
  • 7:30 AM We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician for a night shift assignment at a short-term acute care facility in Portland, Oregon.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of sterile processing procedures, instrumentation handling, and infection prevention standards in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform decontamination, cleaning, sterilization, and assembly of surgical instruments and medical equipment Inspect instruments and trays for cleanliness, functionality, and completeness Prepare and distribute sterile supplies for surgical and procedural areas Operate sterilization equipment according to hospital and regulatory standards Maintain accurate documentation within Epic and department tracking systems Follow infection control and patient safety protocols at all times Collaborate with surgical services and clinical teams to support procedural needs
Requirements:
Previous Sterile Processing Technician experience required Prior travel experience required Strong knowledge of sterile processing procedures and infection prevention standards required Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment required
Preferred:
Experience using SPM systems preferred Experience with robotic instrumentation preferred Epic EMR experience preferred For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
