Job Summary and Qualifications As a Sterile Processing Technician, you'll play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality surgical care by making sure every instrument is thoroughly cleaned, sterilized, and ready when needed. Your focus on safety and attention to detail helps protect patients and empowers a team that's committed to the care and improvement of human life - one surgery at a time.

What You Will Do In This Role:

You will perform delegated functions in compliance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. You will perform procedures related to decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instrumentation for Surgical Services and Nursing units. You will review sterilization records and prepare reports as assigned. You will demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the Surgical Services team. You will have accountability for delivering quality services and for promoting a positive image of the department.

What qualifications you will need:

Certification in Sterile Processing is required after 1 Year. Previous experience in an Operating Room, Central Supply or other Material Management setting is preferred is a full-service, 300+ bed hospital that has been offering exceptional care to the West Houston communities for over 30 years.
