Note :
Eligibility for benefits may vary by location and is determined by employment status Job Summary Responsible for task-based Sterile Processing activities to include decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation. Assembly and delivery of surgical and interventional procedure case carts; paring and replenishment of materials and working in collaboration with surgical partners to provide accurate and complete surgical instrumentation and needed supplies. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications

High School Graduate or equivalent

1 year in sterile processing required.

Must have and maintain an active / current certification as either: Certified Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician (CSPDT) from the Certification Board of Sterile Processing & Distribution (CBSPD) or, Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA)
