The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, team-oriented, and committed to providing an outstanding patient experience. Position Overview This role supports our surgeon in a variety of oral surgery procedures, including:

• Surgical extractions
• Wisdom tooth extractions
• Dental implant placement
• Bone grafting procedures
• Full-arch implant cases
• IV sedation cases

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeon during oral surgery procedures
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and operatories
• Monitor and support patient flow throughout the day
• Take diagnostic radiographs and CBCT scans
• Assist with IV sedation setup, preparation, & placement
• Assist with patient eval/prep, anesthetic drugs, monitoring vital signs, & recognizing/managing medical emergencies
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient instructions
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols

Qualifications Required:

Oral Surgery assisting experience (experience must be in an oral surgery setting) CPR/BLS Certification X-ray Certification Experience with CBCT imaging Strong communication and patient care skills

Highly Preferred:

Implant surgery experience IV Sedation Certification OMAAP Certification DAANCE Certification ACLS Certification PALS Certification Why Join Our Team? Our Schedule:
