Our practices are owned by one doctor and managed by a team of people united by the goal of helping as many patients as possible experience dental surgery in a positive way. We pride ourselves on maintaining a healthy office culture with competitive pay and benefits. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent patient experiences and work well within a team. This is a full-time position with benefits. Responsibilities of Surgical Assistant Prepare the operatory and equipment Greet and escort patients to and from the treatment room Prepare the patient for surgery or examination Maintain awareness of patients' comfort and safety needs Record treatment information in the patient's chart Assist the doctor by passing instruments, aspirating intra-oral fluids, and taking photographs Take radiographs as directed by the doctor Provide post-operative care to patients as directed by the doctor Communicate with other essential team members to coordinate patient flow and comfort Maintain a clean and organized work area Requirements of Surgical Assistant CPR and First Aid certification Valid X-ray certificate Sustained positivity and energy throughout the day Communicate clearly with patients and all team members Attention to detail
Professionalism Compensation and Benefits Wage:
$22-$28 per hour (DOE) 90-day review and wage assessment, with potential for an increase 36-40 hour work week Health insurance benefits available after 30 days; all other benefits are eligible after a 90-day probationary period 5 days of sick pay per year 5 paid holidays Medical, vision, and dental insurance available 401(k) employer contribution We believe that all patients deserve to experience a better life by having their oral health restored to ideal health.
