The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent patient experiences and work well within a team. This is a full-time position with benefits. Responsibilities of Surgical Assistant Prepare the operatory and equipment Greet and escort patients to and from the treatment room Prepare the patient for surgery or examination Maintain awareness of the comfort and safety needs of patients Record treatment information in the patient's chart Assist the doctor by passing instruments, aspirating intra‑oral fluids, taking photographs Take radiographs as directed by the doctor Provide post-operative care to patients as directed by doctor Communicate with other essential team members to coordinate patient flow and comfort Maintain a clean and organized work area Requirements of Surgical Assistant CPR & first aid certificate Valid X-ray certificate Sustained positivity and energy throughout the day Communicates clearly with patients and all team members Attention to detail
