Responsibilities of Surgical Assistant Prepare the operatory and equipment Greet and escort patients to and from the treatment room Prepare the patient for surgery or examination Maintain awareness of the comfort and safety needs of patients Record treatment information in the patient's chart Assist the doctor by passing instruments, aspirating intra‑oral fluids, taking photographs Take radiographs as directed by the doctor Provide post-operative care to patients as directed by doctor Communicate with other essential team members to coordinate patient flow and comfort Maintain a clean and organized work area Requirements of Surgical Assistant CPR & first aid certificate Valid X-ray certificate Sustained positivity and energy throughout the day Communicates clearly with patients and all team members Attention to detail

Professionalism Compensation and Benefits Wage:

$22-28 per hour DOE 90-Day Review and wage assessment, with potential of increase 32-34 hour work week Health Insurance Benefit at 30 days, all other benefits eligible after 90-day probation 40 hours Vacation (Accrued Annually) doubles at year 3 of service. 5 days sick pay per year 5 paid holidays Medical, Vision, and Dental available 401K Employer contribution We think that all patients deserve to experience a better life by having their mouth restored to ideal health.
