This includes patient and patient related transportation, direct patient care, supply distribution and cleaning.

Knowledge of medical terminology preferred BLS certification required by end of 90 day conditional period Responsibilities Expedient turn overs of operating rooms between surgery cases. Maintain clean, safe environment. Demonstrates knowledge of surgical asepsis in the handling of supplies and equipment. Provides for patient comfort and safety while transferring. Assists the RN in positioning of the patient when requested. Acts as a team player while carrying out duties assigned. Complies with all hospital, division and department policies and procedures. Attends huddle and in-service programs to increase knowledge base. Projects a positive image of the hospital within the community. Promotes cost containment when maintaining supplies and equipment..
