West Palm Beach & Boynton Beach, FL About Us Palm Beach Periodontics is a boutique, fee-for-service periodontal and dental implant practice dedicated to providing exceptional clinical care and a five-star patient experience. Our team specializes in advanced periodontal surgery, dental implants, bone grafting, soft tissue grafting, All-on-X treatment, and IV sedation procedures. We are seeking an experienced Surgical Dental Assistant who is passionate about patient care, enjoys working in a collaborative team environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent surgical outcomes. What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is: Kind, confident, and compassionate with patients Reliable, accountable, and highly organized Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced surgical environment A strong communicator who works well with both clinical and administrative team members Detail-oriented and committed to excellence A self-starter who takes ownership and looks for ways to improve systems and patient experiences Interested in growing professionally within a specialty surgical practice Responsibilities Assist the doctor during periodontal, implant, and oral surgical procedures Prepare and break down surgical operatories efficiently Maintain sterile technique and infection control protocols Sterilize, organize, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment Support IV sedation procedures and patient monitoring Assist with PRF preparation and phlebotomy procedures Obtain diagnostic radiographs and CBCT scans Educate patients regarding post-operative instructions and treatment expectations Contribute to a smooth, hospitality-driven patient experience from start to finish Travel between our West Palm Beach and Boynton Beach offices as scheduled
Qualifications Required:
Dental Assistant experience (minimum 1 year) Surgical dental assisting experience Current Florida dental radiography certification High school diploma or equivalent Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred:
Periodontal, oral surgery, or implant experience IV sedation experience Phlebotomy experience Denticon experience
