Chicago, IL Job Details Part-time From $275 a day 19 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Medical procedure assistance OR experience Surgical biomedical equipment Collaboration with surgical teams Full Job Description Clinical Specialist - Surgical Device (Part-Time/Per Diem) Gamma Surgery, Inc. provides specialized technology and clinical support for radio-guided surgical procedures. We are seeking a dependable, personable Clinical Specialist to provide operating-room support at hospitals in the Chicago area. The primary facilities for this position are Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Advocate Christ Medical Center and St. Joseph Hospital Joliet What you'll do Transport, set up and test Gamma Surgery-owned gamma probe equipment for scheduled surgical procedures Provide technical and clinical support during procedures Communicate professionally with surgeons, nurses and OR personnel Follow hospital, operating-room, credentialing and safety protocols Maintain equipment and ensure it is ready for each scheduled case Represent Gamma Surgery professionally within our hospital accounts What we're looking for Flexible schedule Prior operating-room, surgical, medical-device or healthcare experience preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Dependable, punctual and comfortable working independently Ability to work effectively with surgeons and hospital staff Reliable transportation to assigned Chicago-area hospitals Must not have conflicting employment with hospitals serviced by Gamma Surgery Position details
