We are proud of the positive experiences we are able to provide our patients. We are looking for an Oral Surgical Assistant to help care for our growing patient population. The right candidate must be highly motivated and possess an interest in exceptional patient care. A successful surgical assistant will be able to take the initiative and organize surgical procedures effectively, as well as communicate well with the rest of the team. Candidates must have a great attitude and be a team player. We have three beautiful offices and a great team.
Responsibilities:
Assist with surgical procedures. Prepare patients for surgery. Monitor the vital signs of patients during surgery. Complete necessary documentation such as consent forms, anesthesia records, and surgical notes, clearances, or any other clerical work that may be needed. Maintain and check surgical instruments and equipment. Deep cleaning of operatories, instruments and equipment. Keeping track of stock and ordering of supplies. Assisting in taking patient phone calls and scheduling. Use good judgment when dealing with patients, visitors, families, and co-workers. Experience in healthcare as a dental assistant-medical assistant or EDDA would be helpful and translate well to this position. X-ray certification is a plus but we can help provide the right candidate with this certification.Benefits:
