Job Description:
Ensures all identified supply and instrument needs are placed on the appropriate case cart and ready for patient use according to the surgery schedule. Assists in the pulling and organization of surgical instruments and supplies. Supports the Operating Room staff with supply identification, ordering, and availability when needed. Provides support during surgical procedures by ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Participates in regular inventory audits to maintain accurate records. Performs other duties as assigned. Works closely with Materials Management to ensure fiscal responsibility in the ordering of supplies. Maintains necessary supplies to provide patient care without unnecessarily increasing inventory Communicates promptly with Coordinators, Facilitators, and Surgery staff when identifying supply or instrument concerns. Monitors and manages inventory levels to ensure availability of necessary supplies. Coordinates with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of required materials.
