To Be Discussed We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Assistant to support surgeons during operative procedures while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong anatomical knowledge, excellent technical skills, and the ability to function effectively in fast-paced surgical environments.

Responsibilities:

Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by positioning patients and maintaining exposure of the operative site Provide operative field visualization through retractors, suctioning, sponging, tissue manipulation, and irrigation Assist with hemostasis techniques, wound closure, suturing, skin stapling, dressing application, and securing drainage systems Perform harvesting of veins, radial arteries, tendons, bone, skin, and assist with plastic closure procedures under surgeon supervision Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with infection control and operating room safety standards Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and surgical teams to support positive patient outcomes Stay updated on surgical technologies, specialty procedures, and clinical best practices

Requirements:

Associate's Degree in Surgical Assisting or completion of an accredited Surgical Assisting program required Extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and surgical procedures required Strong eye-hand coordination and ability to stand for extended periods required Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills required

Preferred:
