Overview:
Surgical Dental Assistant (RDA) Texas Implants & Dental Specialists We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Surgical Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will assist our doctors during a variety of dental surgical procedures, provide exceptional patient care before, during, and after treatment, and help ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable experience for every patient. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, clinically proficient, and committed to delivering outstanding care while supporting the overall success of the practice.
Schedule:
Full time, 4 days a week
Responsibilities:
Provide chairside support during dental surgical procedures, assisting doctors with treatment, charting, patient education, and operatory setup and breakdown. Deliver an exceptional patient experience throughout every stage of treatment. Take and process diagnostic radiographs and other clinical images as needed. Prepare surgical rooms, instruments, and materials to ensure efficient procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation. Perform sterilization and infection control procedures in compliance with practice and regulatory standards. Educate patients on treatment plans, oral hygiene, and post-operative care instructions. Ensure patient comfort, safety, confidentiality, and adherence to all workplace regulations. Support the clinical team with additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Registered Dental Assistant with the state of TX 1+ years of Surgical Dental assisting experience Preferred Skills Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude Reliable, organized, and comfortable in a high-level clinical setting
