  • Overview:
  • We are seeking a skilled Surgical Assistant to join our oral surgery team. As a Surgical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the surgeon during surgical procedures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the well-being of patients.
  • Duties:
  • Assist surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain aseptic techniques throughout procedures
  • Monitor patients' vital signs during surgery
  • Handle medical records and ensure accurate documentation
  • Provide assistance in various surgical specialties, including Implants, Bond and brackets, biopsies, extractions, bone grafting and IV sedation
  • Utilize knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to support the surgical team
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of aseptic technique and infection control practices
  • Dental/Oral surgery experience is required
  • xrays certified
  • familar with computer charting
  • Ability to accurately record and maintain medical records
  • Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and interpretation
