Job Description

Our multi-specialty practice in McLean, VA specializes in Facial Cosmetic & Oral Surgery and is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Surgical Assistant. Our successful candidate will have at least one year of surgical experience in Oral Surgery or Plastic Surgery as a surgical assistant. They will also be hard-working, reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player. Ideally, you thrive working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills. Salary based on experience.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must be available to work Monday -Friday from 8:15 am to 5:00 pm. Occasionally arriving earlier or later, depending on a scheduled procedure. First/Second chairside assist with surgical procedures Prepare treatment trays for various procedures Prepare and set up the operative room based on procedures Prepare patients for treatments Instrument sterilization Adhere to OSHA protocols Adhere to HIPAA standards Responsible for post-op protocol in the office and with patients Take appropriate x-rays, Panoramic/CT scans. (registered is a plus!) Inventory of supplies Manage and oversee the direction and flow of patients to ensure the daily schedule runs efficiently and timely. High attention to detail and accuracy, as well as verbal and written communication skills. This is a full-time position, M-F. No weekends.
