Job Description

Dental/Anesthesia Assistant The anesthesia surgical assistant will work with our oral surgeons to help them perform surgical procedures. May provide aid in exposure, hemostasis, and other technical functions. Provides first or second assisting, as determined by operating surgeons who supervises and directs the assistant. Sedates and monitors sedated patients, and oral procedures such as examinations, or X-rays. This involves not only assisting the surgeon with their duties, but also working closely with the patient to ensure they are comfortable. It will be a requirement to obtain your Dental Anesthesia Assisting license. This will be obtained while working for our office. The assistants carry out tasks such as preparing equipment before surgery, discussing the procedure plus any aftercare with patients, and helping surgeons monitor patient vital statistics. This job is well suited to people who are dexterous, have great attention to detail, incredibly organized and genuinely care for people. Keys to Success in this

Job Requirements:
Willing to undergo training for and be registered as a dental assistant in the state of Washington. AA certificate is a plus. BLS Certified or be willing to and able to obtain BLS certification. Positive attitude is a must! We need someone who has a winning attitude that has no problem taking initiative and is flexible. Strong organizational skills Attention to detail Dexterity Strong team player Excellent listening and customer skills in person and on the phone Excellent written and verbal skills, with attention to detail and follow up Demonstrate strong work ethic
