Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in nursing and surgical technology to a vibrant operating room environment. Whether you are experienced as a non-certified or certified surgical technologist or bring an operating room nursing background, your skills and commitment help ensure the success of every procedure and the well-being of every patient.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience in the operating room as a Registered Nurse (ORT) or Surgical Technologist Certification as a Surgical Technologist is welcome but not required Familiarity with sterile technique, instrumentation, and safety protocols in the OR Excellent teamwork and communication skills, adapting quickly to dynamic surgical environments Current license or eligibility to practice as required for nursing roles
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the surgical team before, during, and after procedures, ensuring patient safety and efficient workflow Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies according to the requirements of each case Maintain strict aseptic technique and adhere to infection control policies Monitor and document patient responses and equipment usage as needed Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other staff to support positive patient outcomes
