Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for proving technical services, creating a sterile field and maintaining an aseptic environment under the direction of a Registered Nurse in compliance with the standards of the department. Is knowledgeable in population specific requirements of care. Performs perioperative/gastrointestinal related duties as required. Maintains the proper care storage, and requisitioning of supplies and equipment for patient care.
REQUIREMENTS
This Full Time position will consist of day shifts with call.
MUST LIVE WITHIN 30 MINUTES
of the facility, due to call schedule. High School diploma or equivalent. Associate's Degree preferred. Graduate of approved O.R. technician program required. Prefer Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting. BLS Certification is required upon hire. Must have at least 1 year of experience as a surgical technician in an accredited hospital with an emphasis on Ortho. Ability and willingness to work as a Surg Tech as well as in
SPD. PAY / BENEFITS
