  • Part-time Under the direction of the Director of Surgical Services, and a Registered Nurse, the Surgical Technologist works intra operatively in the preparation and handling of supplies and equipment to maintain a safe and therapeutic surgeon environment for the patients.
The Surgical Technologist will perform as a team member for the common good of the patient take responsibility for personal action.
Education:
High school graduate or Certification from national association of surgical technologist Certification from National Association of Surgical Technologist required CPR certification required (must obtain within 2 months of hire)
Experience:
— One year experience in a main operating room within the last two years preferred— Basic knowledge of scrub role— Handling of instruments, set up, anticipates surgeons needs— Knowledge of autoclaves— Transporting patients High school graduate Certification from national association of surgical technologist — Certification from National Association of Surgical Technologist Required — CPR certification required (must obtain within 2 months of hire) One year experience in a main operating room within the last two years preferred — Basic knowledge of scrub role — Handling of instruments, set up, anticipates surgeons needs — Knowledge of autoclaves — Transporting patients Certified Tech
