Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Nursing experience with specialization in Operating Room Tech (ORT) Current, valid licensure and certifications required for the role Proven record completing regulatory requirements (TB testing, HIPAA, compliance training, etc.) Demonstrated ability to manage surgical instruments and adhere to count policies Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills Initiative in identifying challenges and implementing solutions
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care, anticipating procedural needs for optimal support Collect, document, and communicate essential data and surgical counts accurately Maintain compliance with all organizational and regulatory policies Manage additional department tasks and contribute ideas for process improvement and cost containment Participate in staff education and orientation as assigned Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for the best care outcomes
