School Aide

The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional. Schedule & Hours Monday-Friday, following the school calendar

Pay:

$19-21/hour Hours vary by bell schedule: approximately 7:30 AM-4:00 PM 28-32.5 hours per week while school is in session School breaks and holidays off (winter, spring, summer) Optional opportunity to pick up substitute shifts in neighboring districts during breaks for extra hours Role Overview As an Instructional Aide, you will support students in a classroom setting by: Working 1:1 with a student or providing general classroom support Assisting students with classwork and lesson activities Supporting teachers with daily classroom needs Supervising students during recess, lunch, or bathroom routines

Minimum Requirements:
