AL01 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced OR Technician / Surgical Technologist to join our Operating Room team. The Surgical Technologist will assist surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals before, during, and after surgical procedures while maintaining a safe, sterile, and efficient environment.
Responsibilities Duties:
Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures. Assist with surgical procedures by passing instruments and supplies to the surgeon and surgical team. Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical procedures. Perform surgical counts of instruments, sponges, needles, and other supplies. Assist with patient positioning, skin preparation, and surgical site preparation. Ensure surgical equipment is functioning properly and report any issues. Handle and prepare specimens according to facility policies. Clean, disinfect, and restock the operating room after procedures. Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital and infection-control policies. Work closely with surgeons, registered nurses, anesthesia staff, and other members of the surgical team. Follow all patient-safety, infection-prevention, and regulatory standards.
