Job Description
Seasonal Certified Surgical Tech - Main Operating Room - ( 260003H7 ) Description InterHealth Staffing is a for-profit staffing division of TGH committed to providing patients with excellent and compassionate care. Positions range from permanent clinical float roles (Full time or Part Time) to Seasonal 13-week assignments with significantly higher base pay. As the region's leading safety net hospital, Tampa General is committed to providing area residents with world-class and compassionate health care ranging from the simplest to the most complex medical services. The Operating Room Technician or surgical technologist is that health team member specifically involved with the instrumentation and technical aspects of the operative event. Ability to work as part of a Team.
Qualifications Education:
High School graduate, GED or 3 years relevant experience required. Graduate from a Surgical Tech program required.Experience:
One year experience in surgery or prior on the job scrub experience required.Licenses/Certifications:
Surgical Tech Certification required; BLS certification required through American Heart Association.Primary Location :
