AdventHealth Surgery Center Blue Springs , located in Orange City, Florida , is hiring a full-time, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) . This high-volume ambulatory surgery center (ASC) operates as an independent entity merged with the AdventHealth network. The position requires high efficiency across a variety of multi-specialty cases, with a strong focus on Heavy Orthopedics alongside Ophthalmology, ENT, GYN, GI, General Surgery, and Podiatry. Calibrate, test, and prepare diverse surgical equipment and power tools.

First line surgical support:

function as a primary scrub person, passing instruments and supplies with precision and anticipating surgeon needs. Track, count, and document all hardware, sponges, and needles. Assist with rapid room turnover to maintain ASC efficiency.

Required Qualifications Certification:

Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential via NBSTSA is required.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of active OR experience required.

Specialty:

Proven multi-specialty proficiency in an ASC or OR environment.

Education:

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.

BLS:

Current Basic Life Support certification.
