Submit your application for the opportunity below: Certified Surgical Technologist PRN Job Summary and Qualifications The Surgical Technician (ORT), under the direction and supervision of the RN, and Surgical Services Supervisor, assists in the performance of a variety of both invasive and non - invasive operative procedures . Technical responsibilities include functioning in the role of operating room technician for surgical procedures, and the knowledge of aseptic technique needed to carry out the procedure. The ORT maintains surgical equipment in good working order and maintains adequate stocking of surgical supplies and related equipment. Other responsibilities include, maintaining appropriate aseptic technique in cleaning the rooms and/or necessary supplies.
