Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced OR Tech / Surgical Technologist to join a busy Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in maintaining a sterile environment, assisting surgeons during procedures, and delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical setting.

08/25/2026 Requirements Minimum 18 months of recent Operating Room experience (2+ years preferred). Strong Neuro surgery experience is required. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. BLS (AHA) certification required. NBSTSA or NCCT Surgical Technologist certification preferred. Must be comfortable floating to other units or affiliated facilities when needed. Must be willing to participate in on-call rotations. All requested time off must be submitted with the application. Responsibilities Prepare the operating room by ensuring all surgical instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for procedures. Assist surgeons by anticipating instrument and supply needs during surgery. Maintain strict sterile technique and infection prevention standards. Support surgical procedures across specialties such as general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, vascular, plastics, gynecology, urology, and robotic surgery. Perform accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and sharps. Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care. Assist with room turnover and maintain a clean, organized surgical environment. Float within the scope of practice as needed to support patient care.

$1,300.00 - $1,500.00 per week
