With over 30 years of service and a reputation for excellence in ophthalmology, our practice includes a high-volume ambulatory surgery center and multiple clinic locations across Northeast Georgia. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of surgical procedures (ophthalmology experience preferred), be highly detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role plays a critical part in supporting our surgeons, maintaining a sterile field, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments Assist surgeons during ophthalmic procedures, including cataract and other anterior segment surgeries Ensure proper handling, sterilization, and organization of surgical instruments and equipment Anticipate surgeon needs to support efficient case flow and turnover Maintain strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols
Qualifications:
Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required Ophthalmology or ambulatory surgery center experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented, high-volume setting
Schedule:
Monday to Friday Day shift No weekends
