Schedule/Hours:
Primarily day shifts Weekday, weekend, and holiday on-call coverage required (approximately 1-2 call days per month)
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Active, unencumbered state Nursing license 2+ years' recent experience as an ORT in a hospital setting Current BLS certification (other certifications a plus) Demonstrated proficiency with operating room protocols, sterile technique, instrumentation, and patient safety Strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain OR set-ups, equipment, and sterile fields for a broad range of surgical procedures Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Adhere to all facility and regulatory standards for infection control and safety Participate in on-call rotation, providing coverage during weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed
