Available (case-by-case)Job DescriptionOverviewA high-volume cardiovascular surgery program in Savannah, GA is seeking a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist (CST) with open heart experience.

This role supports a growing cardiac surgery service performing approximately 1,000+ cases annually, including a wide range of cardiac and thoracic procedures. Ideal candidates are experienced in open heart cases and thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven surgical environment.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain sterile field for cardiovascular surgical proceduresSet up, organize, and manage surgical instruments, equipment, and suppliesAssist surgeons during open heart and thoracic proceduresPerform surgical counts with circulating RN per protocolAssist with patient positioning, transport, and room turnoverClean and prepare instruments for sterilizationSupport efficient OR workflow and patient safety standards

QualificationsRequired:

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology programCertified Surgical Technologist (CST) credentialMinimum 1-2 years of CVOR / open heart experienceCurrent BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days)

Preferred:
