Job Description
Work Shift:
Under the general supervision of a registered nurse, provides nursing care and completes tasks delegated for all categories of patients served. Utilizes patient's individualized plan of care in providing care and collecting data relating to patients needs and response. Provides care in accordance with Houston Healthcare's Plan for the Provision of Nursing Care, standards of care and standards of performance.Qualifications:
Education & Training:
High School diploma or GED equivalent. Completion of an accredited surgical technology program or is currently enrolled and in good standing in their last quarter of scrub tech program.Experience:
One (1) year scrub tech experience. Education may substitute for Experience.Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
CurrentAHA/ARC BLS
certification.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must be able to utilize standard office equipment. Must be able to utilize diagnostic equipment as well as patient care equipment.
