Role Description This is a full time (less than 40 hours) on-site role for a Surgical Technician located at our ASC in Honolulu, HI. The Surgical Technician will be responsible for working with operating room teams to ensure efficient and safe surgical procedures, preparing and sterilizing equipment, assisting surgeons during procedures, and providing technical support to the surgical team. Duties The surgical technician handles the instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. The surgical technician has an understanding of the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon. The surgical technician has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field. 1+ years of orthopedics and spine surgery experience required. Qualifications Surgical Technology and Operating Room skills Knowledge of Medicine and Surgical Assisting Experience with Sterilization techniques Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or related field Certification in Surgical Technology or related field is preferred
