Qualifications & Experience:

Certified Surgical Technologist (required) Experience in perioperative nursing/operating room technician role Strong understanding of aseptic technique Ability to provide age-specific care, preferably with anterior experience caring for obstetrical patients Excellent organization and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as first, second, or assisting surgical technician under the supervision of an RN during procedures Apply aseptic principles to ensure a sterile operating environment Demonstrate knowledge and competency in technical and psychomotor skills Assist with organization, supply coordination, and room turnover Ensure safety for patients, coworkers, and self, strictly following hospital policies and legal standards Maintain, clean, and report equipment status; perform documentation of sterilization and disinfection processes Charge for equipment and supplies as needed
