Certified Surgical Technologist (Fulltime/Parttime) 900 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611 $29.22 - $38.00 an hour - Part-time, Full-time $29.22 - $38.00 an hour - Part-time, Full-time The 900 North Michigan Surgical Center is excited to announce there is an opportunity for a Certified Surgical Technician to join our remarkable team. You will be responsible for assisting with delivering quality surgical care through planning and anticipating the surgeon and procedure needs and coordinating with the circulating perioperative nurse during surgical procedures. The Surgery Center at 900 N. Michigan Avenue is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality outpatient surgical care in the most advanced technical and professional environment available. The Surgery Center at 900 N. Michigan Avenue is located in the heart of downtown Chicago's Michigan Avenue shopping district. The Center is a state-of-the-art, Joint Commission-accredited, Medicare-certified multi-specialty surgery center
Job Summary:
Assist in preparation for surgical cases assuring supplies, equipment, and instruments are available and in working order before the start of each case. Assist physicians during surgical procedures Maintain aseptic technique Coordinate with RN Prepare operating rooms for surgery and organize supplies and equipment. Assist in sterile processing as needed and supports the Materials Manager as directed Possess good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to interact with all members of the healthcare team Process excellent organizational skills Self-motivated and functions as a team member Dependable employee open to learning and growing with our surgery center. Passion for an environment focused on high-quality patient care Sets an example for peers in professional conduct Demonstrates initiative in communicating information proactively.
Job Requirements:
Two or more years of experience required Professional certification required ( NBSTSA) CPR certification Experience in Plastic surgery, Gynecology, ENT, Ophthalmology, and Pain Management is a plus
Pay:
$29.22 - $38.00 per hour
