POSITION SUMMARY
The Surgery Support Specialist provides care for surgical patients and family, interacting and communicating effectively. They are responsible for the transportation of patients, along with the supply management and environmental care functions in the department. This includes departmental cleaning and preparing the surgery room with equipment and supplies; in addition interacts and communicates with surgical patients and their families. Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school diploma or
GED Experience:
6 months in a customer service role or working in a team environment Other skills/knowledge: Experience working with computers, phones, and interpersonal skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
Patient Care experience in health care environment
Licensure/Certifications:
American Heart Association CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS) Other skills/
Knowledge:
